Learn about the perks of our newest personal checking account, Personal Checking Plus.

One of our drivers as a community bank is to provide banking products that fit the needs of customers with a variety of financial goals. Our Personal Checking accounts were designed to provide all of the tools and perks that larger banks offer, with the friendly, local customer service that you can only find from a community bank. Our new Personal Checking Plus Account is no exception.

How Does Personal Checking Plus Differ from Other Accounts?

Personal Checking Plus is a great entry level checking account for young students and professionals to begin managing their own finances. That’s because it doesn’t require a minimum daily balance to waive the $10 monthly service fee, as long as a few key criteria are met.

When a customer signs up for Personal Checking Plus, all they have to do is enroll in E-Statements, set up direct deposit, and sign up for a debit card to make sure their monthly fee is waived. Essentially, we’re waiving the monthly fee just for using tools to optimize the management of your account! These options must be active at all times.

What Perks are Included?

Just like our other personal checking accounts, this account comes loaded with options and tools to help you master your finances. Here are some of the features you can count on with your Personal Checking Plus account:

  • Unlimited check writing
  • Free Debit/ATM Card
  • Free Online and Mobile Banking
  • Free Mobile Deposit
  • Free SecurLock Equip App
  • Free Bill Pay
  • Free Telephone Banking
  • Free E-Statements
  • Images of your cancelled checks with each monthly statement

How to Get Started

All you need to open a Personal Checking Plus account is a $50 minimum deposit and information to set up your direct deposit. A bank employee will help you enroll for E-statements and direct deposit, and will order your debit card when you open the account.
