As a community bank, we realize that while we’re always here, you may not be. While our online banking perks are relatively new, we’re seeing more and more customers adopt the online and mobile banking app as their main method of managing money. We already talked about all of the wonderful features you can take advantage of, but we want to help you put them to use!
What is Mobile Deposit?
One of our favorite features of our mobile banking app is mobile deposit. It’s a simple way to deposit checks from your phone when visiting a branch isn’t convenient for you. Because it’s done within our mobile app, it’s just as safe and secure as if you did it at the bank.
How Does it Work?
Using scanning technology, the mobile app lets you take a photo of the front and back of your signed check. It will then check for information needed to process the check including the bank and routing numbers, amount of the check, and signatures. Your money will deposit in a few business days, so if you need it immediately, we do recommend visiting a branch.
