Brett and Jonathan realized that working for a large hospital was not for them and decided they wanted something different. They used what they learned to create a business that operates in what they call “the right way”.
In 2015, Jonathan Eaton and Brett Siebenkittel decided to leave secure jobs as physical therapists at a local hospital to become business owners. Despite the hard work of starting a small business, they wouldn’t trade their experiences for anything. And in their words, if it wasn’t for Highlands Community Bank, they would have never succeeded.
Doing It Different
Prior to to opening Ridgeline, Brett and Jonathan experienced many of the frustrations that come along with working for a large corporation. They identified how to do things differently and took action.
“We see people one-on-one and we never double book patients,” Brett says. “Your time is with a licensed therapist and there’s no split time. We treat everyone here like family.”
Jonathan and Brett value quality service, and it shows from the moment you walk into Ridgeline. At the end of the day, they feel it’s all about giving back to the community they live in.
Small Banking Big Difference
Brett and Jonathan completely funded Ridgeline Physical Therapy through Highlands Community Bank. Though the early days were complicated, Brett explained that Highlands Community Bank made the process (and their lives) much easier.
“With the big national chain banks, it was so hard to come up with everything on their list of demands for a loan,” Brett recalls. “It was totally unrealistic for a small business owner to get approved for a loan. Highlands was much more understanding much easier to work with. You could just talk with them. You didn’t need to fill out a special form to talk to someone.”
Brett and Jonathan get to enjoy helping those in need. They are always entertaining new possibilities with their business, and one thing is for sure – if they do decide to take on a new financial endeavor, Highlands Community Bank will be who they turn to for help.
