Thank you for choosing Highlands Community Bank with your accounts, finances, and banking experience. To make your banking experience better, simpler and more secure we will be undergoing a technology upgrade this July. Rest assured, every enhancement was handpicked to make your banking experience better than ever before.

In addition to the information booklet you have received, this webpage will serve as your online hub for information before, during and after the upgrade. And remember, signing up for Online Banking is the safest and most secure way to ensure we have your email address to keep you up to date on the upgrade.

Technology Upgrade Schedule

Thursday, July 24:

  • All branches will be open normal business hours.
  • ATMs will be out of service.
  • Your old debit card will be deactivated. You will need to activate your new debit card.
  • Online and Mobile Banking will be unavailable starting at 3:00 PM.
  • Telephone banking will be unavailable starting at 5:00 PM.
  • Any pre-authorized deposits or withdrawals scheduled during the system upgrade weekend will be posted as normal.
  • Transaction limits on debit and Point-Of-Sale (PIN purchase) transactions will temporarily change to $1,000, with a maximum daily limit of $1,300. Please plan ahead for this reduced availability and withdraw any cash you might need during this period prior to July 24.
  • Extended customer support hours: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM; call (540) 962-2265.

Friday, July 25:

  • All branches will reopen with new technology in place at 9:00 AM. All branches will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • ATMs are expected to be available by 5:00 PM. Not all ATMs will come back online simultaneously, and the time required for each may vary. ATM withdrawal limits will temporarily change to $300.
  • In-branch banking transactions can only be processed during normal business hours, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Saturday, July 26:

  • The bank will be open for telephone support only.
  • The bank will provide debit card support and replacement for customers who request an appointment. This service will be offered at the drive-through of all 3 branches. Please call ahead to make an appointment.

Sunday, July 27:

  • Bank branches and telephone support will be closed.

Monday, July 28:

  • Online and Mobile banking will return online at approximately 9:00 AM.
  • Telephone banking will be restored at approximately 9:00 AM.
  • ATM withdrawal limits return to their normal, pre-upgrade amounts.
  • Transaction limits on debit and Point-Of-Sale (PIN purchase) transactions will return to normal, pre-upgrade amounts.

Tuesday, July 29 – Friday, August 1:

  • Extended customer support hours 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM; call (540) 962-2265.
  • Technology upgrade is complete.
